Welcome to the Marco Dino’s web site! Opened in January 2012 by Howard Marks and Chef Richard Lendino, it is now the home of authentic Italian cuisine. Once upon a time this building served as the home to the original Sanford Herald Newspaper. No major renovations have been done since the building opened in 1910 instilling a warmth and decadence for over a hundred years. With the original hard wood floors and tin ceilings along with the banquette and gentle lighting add to the romantic and intimate ambiance. We are a small privately owned Italian restaurant nestled in Magnolia Square in the heart of beautiful historic downtown Sanford. Here at Marco Dino’s we aim to provide an unparalleled Italian cuisine and offer our guests an elegant and inviting atmosphere at a reasonable price. We strive to provide ample and attentive service to all of our customers. The restaurant has a warm casual atmosphere, and can be just perfect for that special occasion, intimate dining for two, or for a big family dinner. Everything we serve is made with fresh ingredients and fresh to order. Our Traditional family recipe red sauce is prepared as Chef Rich’s family has done for generations. Growing up in Massapequa, New York he enjoyed many big Italian family dinners. His family comes from Sicily and the Isle of Ischia in Italy which formed his well-rounded Italian background.  You will find some modern influence reminiscent of Stone's Throw Bistro integrated into Italian cuisine in our specialty dishes section.  This provides our guests with the best of both worlds.  Paired along with great craft beer and ever changing wine list, our knowledgeable and courteous staff is eager to make your dining experience warm and welcoming.  We are always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate any requests you may have.  We look forward to the opportunity to having you dine with us.
